This design was specifically made to keep the circle looking even and loose to give it that spider web feel. There are very small changes throughout so please keep that in mind as you follow the pattern. It does not follow a strict formula.
Written Pattern
- Start with Chain 6, slip stitch into the first stitch
- R1 chain 3, 15 double crochets into the center, slip stitch into top of chain 3, (ch3 counts as a dc)
- R2 chain 3, 2 double crochets into the top of each double crochet all the way around, 1 dc into the top of the previous rows chain 3, slip stitch into the top of chain 3 (resulting in 32 dc, chain 3 included)
- R3 chain 5, (double crochet into the top of next double crochet, chain 2), slip stitch into the top of chain 3
- R4 chain 6, (double crochet into the top of the double crochet, chain 3), slip stitch into 3rd stitch in the chain
- R5 chain 7, (double crochet into the top of the double crochet, chain 4), slip stitch into 3rd stitch in the chain
- R6 chain 9, (treble crochet into the top of the double crochet, chain 5), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R7 chain 10, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 6), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R8 chain 11, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 7), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R9 chain 12, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 8), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R10 chain 14, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 10), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R11 chain 15, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 11), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R12 chain 16, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 12), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R13 chain 18, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 14), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R14 chain 19, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 15), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R15 chain 20, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 16), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R16 chain 22, (treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 18), slip stitch into 4th stitch in the chain
- R17 chain 25, (double treble crochet into the top of the treble crochet, chain 20), slip stitch into 5th stitch in the chain
- R18 chain 26, (double treble crochet into the top of the double treble crochet, chain 21), slip stitch into 5th stitch in the chain
- R19 chain 27, (double treble crochet into the top of the double treble crochet, chain 22), slip stitch into 5th stitch in the chain
- R20 chain 30, (triple treble crochet into the top of the double treble crochet, chain 24), slip stitch into 6th stitch in the chain
- R21 chain 31, (triple treble crochet into the top of the triple treble crochet, chain 25), slip stitch into 6th stitch in the chain
